Accommodation overview: QUIRKY COTTAGE OFFERING A RELAXING GATEWAY TO THE FOREST OF DEAN Located in the village of Mitcheldean this pretty end terrace is tucked away behind the striking 17th century church and is perfect for couples or small families that want to stay in a village but remain a short drive away from Cheltenham and a wealth of pretty towns attractions and days out. Ideally situated as a perfect gateway to the Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley this cottage offers a quiet and quirky retreat. The Forest of Dean is well known for its walks and outdoor activities such as the Sculpture Trail Go Ape or enjoy the history of the Dean Heritage Centre or perhaps spend a day by the river at Symonds Yat looking for the nesting Peregrine Falcons or viewing the magnificent Tintern Abbey ruins 30 minute drive away. The light and spacious accommodation has ONE bedroom: double with TV. Shower room: downstairs with WC. Lounge: with woodburner in inglenook fireplace (first basket of logs included) TV/DVD and Freeview. Kitchen/diner: well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob microwave coffee machine fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. Utility room: with freezer.
