Accommodation overview: BEAUTIFUL THATCHED COTTAGE IN THE HEART OF THE TEST VALLEY This restored detached cottage sits peacefully within the grounds of the owner s property and is a couple of miles from the village of Awbridge. The cottage is situated in rural Hampshire found in the heart of the picturesque Test Valley 2 miles from the vibrant market town of Romsey with the ancient cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester both approximately 14 miles away. The village is situated on the Test Way which passes by many pretty villages historic churches and country houses. Nearby Romsey offers visitors a fine selection of shops and restaurants Romsey Abbey or the home of the Mountbatten family at Broadlands. The National Trust s Mottisfont Abbey is well worth a day out. Alternatively take the short drive to the New Forest ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge: with TV DVD iPod dock and woodburner. Dining room.
