Accommodation overview: Nook Cottage is a lovely well stocked Lake District cottage with a coal fire and enclosed courtyard and garden. It is an ideal base for families to relax and have fun on Silecroft beach or explore the western lakes and fells. Silecroft lies in the quiet South Eastern corner of the Lake District National Park nestling between the sea and Black Coombe. Wordsworth described the area as "where the mountains meet the sea". The fabulous and challenging Black Coombe can be tackled by walking from the front door, the other lakes and mountains are only a short scenic drive away.
