Set in an elevated position with views of the South Downs with its own private courtyard. An ideal retreat for couples to relax and unwind in this peaceful countryside setting. Set within the heart of the South Downs National Park Washington makes a great base for exploring the Downs and south coast. For walkers and cyclists of all abilities the South Downs Way is literally on your doorstep. Take in the view of ancient Chanctonbury Ring from the cottage and enjoy the circle walk encompassing the ring with extensive views towards the coast and a lunch at the local pub. With a host of downland villages and beauty spots that can be reached including Steyning Ditchling Beacon and Devils Dyke to the east and Storrington. For nature lovers the Wildfowl and Wetlands Reserves at Arundel and Pulborough make for a great day out. Arundel has antique shops castle and a river where boat hire is available and for seaside fun you can visit Worthing 7 miles. Foodies will love the local farm shops markets restaurants. This unique accommodation offers ONE double bedroom and a dressing/cot room. Bathroom: roll-top bath with hand held shower attachment and WC.
